Cost depends on the service and coverage. Many PPO plans may be accepted after verification. Self-pay and sliding-scale options may also be available.

Whole-person support

CRP provides in-person and telehealth therapy for individuals, couples, and families. We also accept court-mandated therapy referrals when the requested service is clinically appropriate and within our scope.
Services may address trauma, depression, anxiety, relationships, grief, life transitions, justice involvement, substance use, and co-occurring concerns.

CRP accepts self-referrals, community referrals, and court-mandated referrals for outpatient substance use disorder services when the requested service is clinically appropriate and consistent with program eligibility and service availability.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
A structured level of care for people who need more support while continuing to live in the community.

Court-mandated services: Referral documents can be reviewed to confirm clinical appropriateness, program fit, eligibility, attendance requirements, reporting expectations, and service availability.
Housing partnership
Stable housing creates room for lasting change.
CRP partners with MGRC LLC to connect eligible participants with structured transitional and recovery-supportive housing. Options may serve men, women, people returning from incarceration, veterans, and transition-age youth, subject to availability and program eligibility.

Sons of Recovery and Leonard's Recovery House are listed with the Recovery Residence Association and completed an RRA peer review on August 27, 2026. The independent RRA listings provide current housing details, fees, availability, and association information.

Important program distinction: Housing is operated separately through MGRC LLC and affiliated recovery residences. CRP's clinical and outpatient treatment services are not delivered at recovery residences. Housing placement requires separate screening and is subject to availability, residence rules, fees, and housing agreements.

About CRP
Community-rooted care built on dignity and second chances.
Founded in 2020, Community Reunification Project (CRP) is a San Diego-based nonprofit and community-based organization dedicated to helping individuals and families access behavioral health care, recovery services, reentry support, housing resources, and practical pathways toward greater stability, independence, and well-being.
Justice-Involved Medi-Cal
CRP participates as a community-based organization supporting California’s DHCS Justice-Involved Medi-Cal Initiative. Services are available to eligible individuals in accordance with applicable Medi-Cal eligibility, referral, enrollment, authorization, and network requirements.
Medi-Cal Access in Progress
CRP is onboarding with Full Circle Health Network and managed care plans. Broader access begins after contracting and authorization are active.
PPO and Self-Pay
Many PPO insurance plans may be accepted after benefits, eligibility, and network status are verified. Self-pay and sliding-scale options may also be available based on individual circumstances and program availability.

Practicum and internship opportunities
CRP offers a supportive, hands-on learning environment for students in counseling, social work, substance use disorder counseling, community health work, peer support, and related fields who are seeking meaningful field experience.
