About CRP

Community-rooted care. Practical pathways forward.

Who we are

Founded in 2020, Community Reunification Project is a San Diego nonprofit and community-based organization created to help people overcome barriers to healing, recovery, stability, and successful community reintegration.

Our work brings behavioral health, substance use treatment, reentry support, care coordination, Community Health Worker services, housing-resource connections, life skills, and family support into one compassionate network.

Our approach

We believe change grows through dignity, accountability, connection, and access to practical support. Services are designed to be culturally responsive, trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, and welcoming to people affected by incarceration, addiction, homelessness, family disruption, and behavioral health challenges.
